January 4, 2008  E61-4 was dispatched at 18:19 to a 2 car MVA head on with entrappment on RT171. E61-4 on scene took care of hazards and chalked the wheels; while R41 popped the door with the jaws of life. The patient had multiple injuries and had to be flown to CMC. We had 13 men on the alarm. Companies on the box were E61-4, E42, R41, FCEMS, and BLS51-9.

January 4, 2008  E61-3 was dispatched at 18:37 to set up a LZ at the Fell Charter School with R51. E42 helpped set up also, and helpped carry patient to the helicopter. We had 13 men on the alarm. Companies on the box were E61-3, E42, R51, BLS51-9, and FCEMS.

January 6, 2008 E61-3, E61-4 were both dispatched at 19:01 to 404 Main St. at the Dollar General for a smell of rubber burnning in the back room. After using the thermal imaginer and checking the whole back room nothing was found and all companies returned to service. We had 11 men on the alarm. Companies on the box were E61-3, E61-4, R51, BLS51-9.

January 15, 2008 Station 61 Fire Police were dispatched to Reservoir Street for a car in a dicth also on the road. Fire Police on scene and rerouted traffic until G&G towing got on scene and pulled the car out. We had 5 men on the alarm.

 

January 17, 2008 E61-4 was dispatched at 15:20 for a MVA into a pole on top of Dundaff and Owego Turnpike. E61-4 on scene and helped R51 with removing patient from the car and then started to take care of traffic until G&G removed the car. We had 6 men on the alarm. Companies on the box were E61-4, R51, R51-2, and BLS51-9.

 

Jaruary 22, 2008 E61-4 and E61-3 were dispatched to 668 Homestead Street for a gas line that was hit and leaking. The workers on scene stopped the leak before any companies got on scene. E61-4, E61-3 and R51 all on scene and over looked what the workers did along with UGI. All companies returned to service a short time later. We had 6 men on the alarm. Companies on the box were E61-4, E61-3, R51, and BLS51-9. On stead-by was R41.

 

Jaruary 26, 2008 E61-4 and E61-3 were dispatched to RT106 and Crystal Lake RD for a fully involved car fire. E61-4 on scene and reported that the car was fully involved. The E61-4 crew went to work on putting the fire out and the crews from E61-3 and R51 put up lighting due to the dark area. Crews were on scene for a little more then an hour before returning. We had 12 men on the alarm. Companies on the box were E61-3, E61-4, R51, and BLS51-9. On stead-by was E42.

Jaruary 30, 2008 FP61 was dispatched at 10:30am for wire down across the road and to do traffic control on Propect St. in Simpson while Adams Cable put the wire back on the house. We had 2 men on the alarm.

Jaruary 30, 2008 E61-4 was dispatched at 20:30 for a car into a house with entrappment at 942 Main St. with injuries. E61-4 on scene and found a car on its roof and the porch was damaged, but there was no entrappment. Chief 61 had R59 and R41 go back in service due to they were not needed. We had 13 men on the alarm. Companies on the box were E61-4, R51, R59, R41, and BLS51-9.
