April 8, 2008 E61-4 was dispatched to Rt106 for a one car mva with injuries. E61-4 asst. R51 and BLS51-9 with hazards and with the Pt. While FP62 took care of traffic control. Companies on the box were E61-4, R51, BLS51-9, and FP62. We had 4 men on the alarm.
April 8, 2008 Lt61 got a call of an illegal burn on Prospect St. in Simpson and put it out with a water can.
April 13, 2008 E61-3 and E61-4 were dispatched to on automatic alarm 25 Reservoir St. It turned out be a false alarm. Companies on the box were E61-3, E61-4, L51, R51, R51-2, E42, R41, and BLS51-9. we had 8 men on the alarm.
April 15, 2008 E61-3 went to the dollar general to clearn up a small oil spill in the parking lot. Companies on the box were E61-3. We had 2 men on the alarm.
April 15, 2008 E61-4 was dispatched to Shanon Hill for a jeep rollover with 4 people intrapped. Caption 61 on scene reported no intrapment and it was an ATV Rhino with two people injuried. E61-4 crew asst. Cottage BLS with loading Pt into the BLS Units. Companies on the box were E61-4, R51, BLS51-8, BLS51-9, and R41 on stead-by. We had 11 men on the alarm.
April 19, 2008 E61-3 was dispatched to Porter St. for a small brush fire. E61-3 on scene reported a large brush fire. It turn 2.5 hours before the fire was out and 8 acres. We would like to thank all companies who came to help us out. Companies on the box were E61-3, SQ62, BT60, T75, E42, S42, R51, R51-2, Brush52, Brush36, and BLS51-9. We had 7 men on the alarm.
April 19, 2008 E61-3 was dispatched to Crystal Lake Bvd. for a small brush fire inbetween to residents. E61-3 on scene and quicky knocked down the fire with the help SQ62 Chief 62 place BT60 back inservice for Cammand 61. On scene for a half hour before returning. Companies on the box were E61-3, R51, SQ62, BT60,and BLS51-9. We had 8 men on the alarm.
April 21, 2008 Station 61 was put on stead-by for Station 42 because they were working on a brush fire in their area. Station 61 had a crew of 7 if we were needed.
April 21, 2008 FP 61 took care of traffic control on Rt171 for Joe Scothlas Funeral Home.We had one man the alarm.
April 24, 2008 E61-4 was dispatched to Valley View Terrace St. for a one car into the woods. Caption 61 on scene and reported no enjuries. E61 crew cut some trees down to get the car out and R51 took care of the lighting for us. Companies on the box were E61-4, R51, BLS51-9. We had 8 men on the alarm.
April 26, 2008 E61-3 and Chief 61 were dispatched to 70 Owego St. Welfare Check on a Elderly Male found out he was in a VA Hospital in Wilkes-Barre. We had 5 men on the alarm.
April 28, 2008 E61-4 was dispatched to Stead-by at Carbondale Station while they were working on a house fire on Washington St. About 20 minutes later we were called into the scene to assist Carbondale on the fire. Companies on the box were E51, S51, L51, R51-1, R51, BLS51-9, BLS51-8, BLS51-7, E24, E61-4, S62, and on Stead-by at Carbondale Station was E60. We had 4 men on the alarm.
